Concept design and strategy for the studio’s website in co-creation with Marc Suess.

The situation.
Sweetspot Studio is a design studio and media production company based in Hamburg and founded by Creative Director and Brand Consultant Marc T. Suess. The studio helps brands find their sweet spot by creating unique design solutions, media products, and storytelling strategies. The aim was to optimize the UX of the studios’ website and to adapt the logo towards a bit more of an artistic, dynamic look.

The idea.
The studios’ services were presented in a detailed way and the website had quite a lot of sub-pages. The idea: Finding a way, to have the viewer understand what the studio has to offer as quickly as possible.

To reflect the characteristics of the founder and the studio’s philosophy, who also works as a renowned artist, the logo needed a more artistic touch to it. The studio needs to come across as more dynamic, innovative and flexible. So I gave the existing logo a little twist and created different logo combinations.

Strategy and Concept.

What’s the goal?

Instead of listing each service on a separate page – each service is now marketed as an actual product. We took the studio’s message to clients ("Find and share your sweet spot”) as an opportunity to assign certain services to either the Finding-Process or the Sharing-Process. The new website version allows the viewer and (potential) client to see and understand all services at a glance.

The goal was to adapt this vibrant, unique visual language of the studio and to give each service a distinctive face. The FIND-services include strategy workshops and creative coaching. All of them are ways to boost clients’ creativity, define marketing and storytelling strategies or discover the brand’s purpose.

Service becomes product.

The SHARE-services include developing design strategies as well as media products. They include branding, content marketing or creating media products like podcasts or video series.

A versatile product to remember.

We successfully reframed and restructured the content so it’s instantly tangible what the studio has to offer. As the next step, the service products will be produced in a vinyl look – adapting the production of media as part of the services. The products are absolutely ideal to be given away to clients, for example after successfully finishing a project, or to be offered as studio merchandise. Each service visual is an individual artistic image that gives pieces of clothing or stickers an extraordinary cool look.
